My car has been doing that also. I was driving down the highway last summer and the speedometer went to zero. We were still driving highway speeds. The cruise no longer works. It runs great in the winter, but the summer pisses me off. I am just waiting for Nov. I will try the vacuum hose and I will keep in touch. Good Luck.
