They will run all day as long as your rover is running. Keep this in mind. A warn is a good winch, but it can not match a good PTO. In a perfect world, I would have a PTO on the rear and a warn or Ramsey on the front. This way you can get yourself out if the motor stops running and still have enough winch left over to get all of your friends across. PTO’s are more expensive, but there is a good reason they are the standard with people who make their money by winching. (i.e. tow trucks, heavy equipment rental shops, etc) -Nathan
