| Lt 77 Gearbox Posted by Andrew on June 27, 2002 at 18:56:41: I've a '86 110 N/A 2.5 diesel with the above LT77 Gearbox. I've only got 4th and reverse gears working now, so I presume its a layshaft problem. Is this easy to rectify? Is there likely to be any other damage? Options are to do it myself or get a refurb gearbox. DIY is cheaper, but Haynes doesn't cover gearbox, so which workshop manual is recommended? I did a SIII a few years ago and have done loads of mechanical stuff, so that isn't so much of a problem, its just that a diagram always helps! Any suggestions.
