Well, we couldn't find the problem, so eventually took it into the service center. The verdict: a switch was overheating, I think it's the on/off-indicator column. All bulbs and fuses were fine. $200+ later, we're back in business.

By the way, may I suggest if you know anyone buying a new Landrover, Get the Extended Warranty - you'll need it.
