The photo on page 7 is pretty good...I hope I dont meet conditions like that.The quote on page 40 'The first drive reveals a logistical problem with using the Defender as a support vehicle-it cant keep up with the flying Freelanders.' I was told once ' Dont knock it 'til you've tried it ' This is NOT a knock but going off 'half cocked' about the Freelander and not giving it a chance to prove itself isnt fair is it? I used to own a series 111 but I snapped it in half ( full load of logs, wheelbase not the same distance apart as the ploughed furrows in the field !!!) I'm picking up my Freelander next Monday ( 50 th anniversery version) and I hope its as good as it claims to be. Big R
