Yup.I recently parked my 92 close to it's left side in the garage to allow space between cars.Next morning-car starts fine but won't come out of park.Wife gone.No ride to work.We know it's a bad brake light switch.....don't we.Yup.Because of proximity to left garage wall-can't open door more than 3 inches....which means of course,ya cain't get the kick panel out to change the switch! And, of course I had loaned my hydraulic jack to my cousin who is in Palm Springs for the week, and the jack is LOCKED in his garage.Garage floor too slippery to use RR jack.Soooo...took $70.00 cab ride to parts store 16 miles away to buy switch, stopped at rental place on way home to rent hydraulic jack for $26.00.Jacked car, bent left fender aluminum trying to push car sideways(smart!),dropped kick panel, replaced cheapo orig switch with new crapo switch($29.95+tax)....still won't come outta park. After calls to dealer techs (who were stymied)i.e"bring it in and we'll look at it"...(how the hell am I gonna do that? Tow truck can't remove it from garage acct low overhead clearance, and axles locked.Duuuuuh!....i hadda stupid thought!Where do we go FIRST every time we have an electric problem with our RR's??????Do you think the fusebox would be a good idea?????Yup!#B-1 will do it every time! a 45 cent fuse!!!!!I really enjoyed the insanity of the whole thing.....just another fun day in Lucasland!!!!!!!Except for the $150+ lesson of 'parts throwing at it'...when will I ever learn???
