I'm very interested in purchasing a Defender 110. The only problem is that instead of the U.S. version which came in 1993 and in a V-8 petrol option.....the Aussie version only comes in a 300TDI. My questions is........Can I bring this rover into the U.S. with the 300 TDI?????????? I already checked with customs and the NTSHA and the Rover can be imported as a non-conforming vehicle due to the U.S. model that came in 1993. Please give me any info that you can.....Or if anyone has done this before........please let me know how the process went.....was it worth the time and expense??????? Please.....I want a 110....and I'm not ready to fork out 50,000 g's for a 1993!!!!!! Thanks, Don
