The wires do not have anything to do w/the brake pressure or hydralics. The post to spanishtrailrovers has the sequence for the bleeding of abs RR.
The wires you refer to are 'low pad thickness' warning sensors. Hopefully your abs sensors are working-those wires go into a sensor located, not on the brake caliper, but on the top of the swivel housing. If they are cut, it menas a prior owner was not aware of the abs benefits, as those cut wires will disable the abs function.It does not impair brake function, PER SE. Rovers and all mfgr had millions of vehicles on the road prior to widespread abs adoption, to passenger vehicles, in the mid/late 80's. Better with it- yes. Need to have-not strictly. Fix it if it matters to you.
