Go for it! I wanted a 4X4 for ages and always fancied a Disco I asked around (a lot) and apart from the odd story, which is expected of any marque, the feedback was very good.
I have owned mine for 9 months and 6k miles , 2.5k was towing a caravan through spain (Hot!) and I have never looked back.
Excellent vehicles. Wish I had bought one years ago!
