I have a 96 disco as well. The headliner began sagging. I soon discovered the the adhesive BMW used to tack the interior together lacked adhesive properties. I took the car to an interior shop and had the headliner fixed for a 100 bucks. The dash also started peeling. I bought a dash repair kit from roverconnection.com ,$60.00, and it looks great.
