I need to replace the tires on my 96 Disco and am having a hard time finding anything that has at least the same load rating. Alot of P235/70/16's but no LT235/70/16. The dealer said to stay away from the P metric tires because of the load range rating(too light). They recommended Michelin Synchrone's but at $197.00 a tire plus install I thought I would see if there are any other options first. Are there other size options that will work on the vehicle and will still allow me to use the original spare tire without damaging the diffs or the transfer case because of different diameter tires on opposite sides.
