I remember reading a LR tech memo about using a lighter wieght motor oil in cold climates, easier for the motor to turn over. The other likely problem is the battery, even though it seems to work well and turns the engine over it might not be turning it over fast enough. Go to any corner garage and put a tester on the battery, see what that does. After that, check spark, fuel, the basics.. good luck. JMcD
