Hi Ana
I fitted an overdrive to a previous landrover and although it is dead easy once you've done one, I couldn't have done it the first time without instructions. So if you can't get a set of instructions from the shop MG referred to then contact:
Superwinch Ltd (used to be Fairey Winches Ltd)
Abbey Rise
Whitchurch Road
Tavistock
Devon
England
PL19 9DR
Tel (England) 01822 614101 (Ask for Gerty in sales)
Fax 01822 615204

When I fitted the unit I didn't realise that there was a special tool for the mainshaft nut and so I used a hammer and cold chisel and although there was no damage evident immediately afterwards I probably did a lot of hidden damage which would surface later!! Mg is quite correct about fitting the lever - it's a swine!
