My local dealer has a 97 discovery that I "have" to own.
We talked price and I left a tentative deposit but a couple
of things worry me. Under the hood there seemed to be
a bit of fluid around the power steering well. And after
a second going over I noticed a bit of fluid around the
rear differential. It only has 12 thousand miles so I am
kind of suprised.
Questions ?
Are discoveries know to leak in any of these areas ?
Are there any other things that I should check that are
not immediately visible to the eye ?
Is there any specific year of discovery to stay away from

Or basically any advice is highly welcome.
All war stories are highly welcome.
I am supposed to return next Saturday to finalize
