go to discoweb.org or rangerover.net. I have an 89 RR that has 200k runs great, but I have to wrench on it alot. Pretty easy to work on. I prefer the early, classic RR w/o ABS or Air suspension. Try to get one in good shape with service records and you should be allright. Do your research on discos as some early ones had problems with valves, peeling dashes, leaks, etc. On rangies look out for rust, tailgates, floors, shock towers, etc. Whatever you buy do a compression check as motors aint cheap.
