The Cap is new? I also ideled the engine to operationg temp 20 min or so and measured the antifreze at the rad filler with a termometer and it read 165 degree F with no bubbles and nice swirling action. The guage never moved off center , but went on block and it moved up to just below red?? Just don't get it.
