No, the NAS Defenders did not come with an option for power locks. I don't think that Land Rover has ever offered a system for Defenders.
I've seen aftermarket kits to convert them but only in England. I've been told that the quality of these kits is quite questionable but I've never had any real experience with them. I'm not sure if these "add-on" systems include the Station Wagon rear door.
You're right, power locks (or a central locking system) would be very useful on a Defender.
