The rear chains ? has to do with the possible interference with front chains damaging the brake lines, and hitting the steering components. Looking under there, it indeed is a place of little 'extra' clearance. I have not fitted them there, but as I customized (pre-fitted the chains) and cut to fit, I do not have too much of the slop in the chains that worried the LR folks. IF you did it right, it might be possible. The Traction Control is active only on the rear, so you would have the best grip with chains on the rear. Tires: yes indeed you can. Much discussion on tire sizes at link below. Great archive there. On a '95 (new dash) there are two 30A fuses for the frt screen heat. Forward of the dash-mounted glove box. They are left and right 'handed'ie if one fuse is out, the switch will be inop. Start there, but the location of the fuses on '93 is unknown (for sure) by me.
