How many miles on the engine/truck?
Have you performed a compression test yet?
As you have replaced many parts at this point, you are adept
at mech stuff now, even if you weren't before !
Comp gauge from Sears, or any auto parts place.
Steps: 1)engine warm (hope it runs enough to get warmish)
2) remove ALL spark plugs.
3) Disconnect coil wire from coil end, lay aside;
4) Open throttle all way-brick on gas pedal will suffice;
5) pen and paper at hand;
6) fit end of gauge into plug hole #1, crank ignition
to get 4-5 crank revolutions, which registers the
pressure on the gauge head. Note the pressure;
7) repeat cyl #2-8.

Spec should show 140-170#, depends on gauge mfgr.
Important: variation limited to plus/minus 5 lbs best.
15 % is max threshold to rebuild/valve job.

Next issue: leaking injectors ! Perhaps why no vacuum !
and rich sooty plugs.... hope this helps;
Report on comp # at this site Cheers-
