Have a look at www.rpiv8.com....Fuel injection section.
It may be in limp home mode, or limp home++ from what you say. I take it that this is the "hot wire type" air meter. On my "flapper" RR I took the top off and cleaned the resister track, but I don't think you have this. Try taking the connector plug off both air meter and ECU,clean and put back on (battery disconnected first).
Also www.rangie.com...electrical,ECU...this will give you the efi test sheets. Good Luck
