I am considering buying a Series II or IIA rover for around town and
off road use. It will be my primary vehicle and I would like to know if anyone has any advice for me regarding this plan. I am not a skilled mechanic, although I can do a little puttering and would like to learn. Will I need to do a lot of mechanical repairs and such to keep my rover on the road? Anything I should know before I buy, any advice pro or con would be very appreciated. Also any suggestions on particular years or models to look for or avoid.
