My 1994 Discovery is turning on me.
I was driving today and was thinking how terribly loud the rusty truck next to me was until the truck turned off the freeway and still I heard what sounded like 6 Harley exhaust systems strapped to an old jalopy, slowly I came out of denial and I realized it was my Rover.
I am curious to know if the universal converters would work in place of the seriously spendy catalytic converters the Land Rover dealer has in stock. I adore my Rover and hope to be able to take care of this problem but not at the current cost being thrown at me. I know this is not uncommon as the converters seem to fizzle at about 81k miles (mine has 86k) so, please whatever help/advice I can get is appreciated.
