I recently acquired a 1995 RR 4.0 SE, and I love it! Being an Electrical Engineer, I an intrigued by the sophisticated computer control system, .... in particular the Electronic Air Suspension system. I have been able to get my hands on a few wiring diargams, but they don't go into the detail that will satisfy my technical curiosity. I would really be interested in understanding the communications between the ECU and the BECM. From the diagrams, I see that there is a serial data input to the ECU and a serial data output. Does anyone know the details (specification) of the communications protocol?? Is it standard RS232 communications?
