when shifting into drive when cold,nothing happens for about 4 seconds.Engine is under load but no movement during this period.
No such problem when warm.

Is there a problem on the horizon,or is this normal?
Car has covered 60 k miles,engine is 2.5 diesel.

Any advice appreciated
