The aggravating thing is that this message comes on right between the 45 K and 60 K mile service intervals. If you live 120 miles away from the nearest dealer, like I do, this is a royal pain in the butt. Why can't this inspection coincide with established service intervals? If it's such an important inspection, why not set the light off at 45K?

I think its just an excuse for the dealer to charge you a lot of money for nothing.
