| 2.5 TD versions Posted by Rob on September 20, 2001 at 01:17:14: Hi all, I am currently looking at a 1988 LR 110 with a 2.5l TD engine. Could someone out there let me know the difference between 2.5TD engines, in particular the version that was fitted to this vehicle (I think it is originally a UK car)and later versions such as the 200 and 300 series TDi. Are parts readility available? Are they reliable? The car also has a 5 speed gearbox - will a 200 series engine bolt directly to this or is an adapter plate required? Thanks in advance
