You're the judge as far as the value of the $1600 LR phone. Deal is, you can almost assuredly purchase a motorola or equiv. and have installed for far less. Like most people today, why not forego the LR phone and by a slick pocket unit and leave in the car when you need it? RE the "no haggle" policy: I have been shoping for a good buy on a '97 D90 and have found that most dealers will tell you they sell vehicles at the price they ask for on the window. But, in states having more than one dealership, you'll find a willingness to get your business manifest itself in the form of price concessions. For example, the dealer in Alabama actually told me he could not sell his D90 to me because I lived out of state. You can bet I wouldn't buy his vehicle now if he was pratically giving it away. By contrast, the dealer in Atlanta, Georgia has several to choose from, but he subscribes to the "no haggle" rule. Face it, with LR, the depreciation factor is at a minimum, so you may consider a new vehicle over a used one since the price is so similar. To close, they may say "no haggle" but you'd be silly not to.
