I have the exact problem that you stated. Only I have a 94 disco. Intermitantly shudder then either runs raggedly and dies. Turn off the key wait a little turn on runs fine till the next time it appears. Of course I take it to the dealer and you know the story open your wallet and let's see what we can do. Also this problem has been for the last two years and the truck only has 43,000 miles on it seems like it has been driven more by the dealer than by me.

List of repairs:

1)oriface dimension change and stepper motor

2)vss replaced

3)fuel tank clean along with injectors,fuel filter,fuel pump replaced.

list of unrelated problems:

1)Airbag srs harness replaced

2)sunroofs twice replaced

3)link for airbag recall

4)ft output shaft seal

5)right and left stub axle seals right swivel seal

I live in New Mexico and there is just the one dealer in the state. I do need to say I think they are doing the best that they can to fix the problem. I have called LRNA who did send a tech to look at the vehicle but no real fix was given because it still is not working properly.

please reply with any fix if any you have found.
