Help, can anyone advise? My power steering box makes an unusual noise while turning at slow speed or stationary, more pronounced on R/H turns.(increasing revs no different) Its not a graunching mechanical bearing sound but like a chattering hydraulic valve, I first thought it was steering column bearing as it propergates back thru sterring wheel but have disconnected steering U/J and confirmed its in box.
taking weight off front to decrease load on box eliminates noise. Its possible to feel hydraulic lines to box vibrating/chattering but not all the time.

Any clues appreciated
