Some companies here will drop GMC Hummer diesel V8's in RR's, but they knacker any gearbox if used unwisely. Ive got a RR Vogue LSE 1993 which was a 4.3. Ive had it converted to a Land Rover 300 Tdi. This makes it more of a truck and fills the engine bay more than the V8! Half the power, but does cruise at 80 at 30mpg. Diesel makes sense here as petrol and diesel is over £3 a gallon ($5), but in the land of petrol cheaper than water, I think not!
