Ashcroft sells a good unit to get power to the 3rd axle. I'm not sure that I understand your views on the air springs. Every single person that I have talked to says that the air suspension Rangies are harsher than the coil sprung ones. You will probably need to go with LIGHTER spring rates on both rear axles. The weight increase due to the stretch should not be another 50% weight on the car so you'll need to lighten both springs to keep the same ride. This would require mods to the air suspension by someone who understands it fully.
