have had the same problem with my 88 RR. I fix it by reversing untill the odometer rolls back past rollover point. my odometers always quit when rolling over 1k increments.speedo needle bounces and emits a clicking noise.pain in the butt, but for the money i can live with it.also the cruise control will not operate properly when needle is bouncing....good luck.
