D90 wants to turn left!

Posted by Michael on August 06, 1998 at 18:19:35:

Maybe some one can help me with this, the dealership can't figure this out and wants to start changing parts.
My 94 d90 w/48k miles has recently had the bushes replaced with poly, new brake pads all around, new Bilstein shocks and steering damper, and new ball joints all around including the drop arm rebuild. The dealership set the alignment to spec but the car wants to drive to the left. The car drives straight if I hold the steering wheel, but when I let go the wheel turns slightly to the left and so does the D90! The steering wheel turns even further when I accelerate. I just recentered the steering box and it still pulls. Any ideas? The dealership has none. On a hunch I measured the distance hub to hub on each side and the RIGHT side is about one inch longer wheelbase. Is this unusual? Everything else seems right and the dealership confirmed that.

Any help would be appreciated!
