Raised Air Intake for Trip to Iceland?

"Wading specialists" for Iceland wanted: Would someone recommend to equip a 110 with an raised air intake for a trip to the northern island? Or is the standard LR well prepared as long as water depth doesn't exceed 20in (50cm)? Are there LR drivers with other good or bad experiences concerning traveling in Iceland?
