First observation;If you are tall, say 6'+, you will find yourself stooping slighly to see beneath the top of the windscreen on earlier Discos.
Second, and much more troubling observation; While in Florida this spring, and poking through three insurance salvage yards, I noted that (a) Floridians DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE SUVs, and (b) Land Rover air bags have a deployment problem. We counted in excess of 20 wrecked Discos, and saw two with deployed air bags. Several were hard front end crashes, and yes, many were rollovers.
I have never owned a Disco, but have had 2 series vehicles, and presently an '93 RR and D110. I am ever so greatfull I learned from my dads expert mechanical abilities.
