Currently on my third Discovery.

My '97 was nothing but trouble:
> 3 engine management systems installed,
> 2 batteries,
> numerous oil leaks, P/S fluis leaks,
> rattles galore,
> various wheel seals replaced,
> valve job at 10,000 miles

All of this with 3 years and 15,000 miles.

My '98 - not a problem at all, which surprised me since it is virtually identical to the '97. Fine at 16,000 miles.

My '00 - not a problem at all with 12,000 miles.

Except for the lousy fuel numbers, the '98 and '00 are running great.
