I am a recent Land Rover buyer and I hate to disagree with you. I have bought my rover because I have read alot concerning them and I have also read their problems. I hate to say it but anything you buy will have problems. I worked at a GM dealership for 7 years and I saw alot of problems even with the finest cars such as Buick and Olds. Even the Corvette has its problems also. It is just according to the type person you are and the amount of love for a car or truck you have. I would also like to say that anyone with some small knowledge of cars and their principle modes of operation can work on a rover. It does not take a genius to figure out problems with them. I have never worked on one until now and I enjoy it. I also have two Jaguar XJ-S's. If you think you have a nightmare of a car, work on it! I like it though nothing can match or outdrive one. The ride of my Jaguar reminds me of my Rover. So I guess what I am trying to say is quit crying, sell the thing if you are not happy because you sound like you are one of those people who cannot be satisified. The kind I greatly disliked while I worked at the dealership. The kind who just finds problems because they could not afford their car and wanted to have an excuse for the company to buy it back.
