Al, the fuel filter on the Td5 Discovery II is is located at the rear of the vehicle, to the right of the fuel tank and is attached by a bracket with two bolts and nuts to the right hand chassis longitudinal just in front of the rear wheel. The filter is part number ESR4686

The V8 has a built-in filter at the base of the pump in the fuel tank.
