While I love my 1988 Rover the mileage has been addeing up over the years and its now time to refresh some equipment. I have been looking into a possible engine tranny swap type of a deal. I refuse to pay the sum of money required to eitherr replace or rebuild the rover v8 engine not when for the same dollars quoted, 4k or so I can drop in a brand new chevy v8 and transmission. So does anyone have any experience with this kind of a swap?? If so , would like to hear, either good or bad. Thanks
