Magnetti Morelli are pretty cheaply constructed, as most of their products seem to be.Their "castings" are not; they are aluminum pressure diecastings without sufficient stock or gusseting on the mounting ears. If you have had this much trouble, why not go back to OEM equipment. Try their spark plugs if you think their starters are junk, they're pretty poor too
