Check to seee if you have overrun valves int he throttle butterflies. These are spring loaded poppet valves. they can lose tension and allow the engine to rev high at idle. One way to check is to pump the brake pedal and see if the idle comes down.
Valves vcan be unsoldered and tightened then resoldered.
