An ACE vehicle can definitely be lifted

That's not correct information. ACE is basically active anti roll bars. Anti roll bars do not care how high a level axle is but rather how much lean that axle has relative to the body.

ACE relies on accelerometers, and there is no height sensors. You're probably thinking of SLS, the rear air suspension. It is not as easy to raise the rear of an SLS equipped Disco II just by replacing springs/shocks.

However, an ACE equipped vehicle can be raised by way of taller or stiffer springs/shocks combo.
