My Series IIA does the exact same thing at the exact same RPMs. I've been told you can buy an anti-rattle clip for about 50 cents that applies pressure to the selector and prevents the rattle. Rovers North here in the States shows the clip in their catalog. I imagine you will be able to source one in Australia. Good luck and g'day! Brian
