My 1992 RR 3.9 v8 has developed this strange problem of a dead spot when raising revs from idle then at any time usually when idling in traffic the revs raise up to 1500 rpm and when the gas pedal is applied the engine stops.After a short wait it can be restarted and all is well I.E.no dead spot untill the next time.Is this ecu(engine management)problem symtoms.Please help. U.K.
